Golfers raise cash for Seve Ballesteros Foundation Entrants to the 2011 Golf Classic have helped raise much needed funds for the Seve Ballesteros Foundation, which is working in partnership with Cancer Research UK to fund vital brain cancer research. £1 from every entry fee was donated to the charity, along with a contribution from the event organisers, Mainspring Marketing. The £1000 raised has been given added poignancy following Seve’s tragic death, having lost his fight against the disease on 7th May. Read more...
